Jennifer M. Fox, the Occupy Seattle protester that claimed Seattle police physically assaulted her and pepper-sprayed her as she screamed she was three months pregnant, seems to have credibility issues.
Fox’s former foster mother, Lark Stebbins, said Fox called her from Harborview after one recent protest but did not mention she was pregnant.
Stebbins said Fox, whom she parented for 10 years, has a pattern of exaggeration. “My daughter is a compulsive liar,” Stebbins said. “She’s a wannabe drama queen.”
Stebbins’ older daughter echoed the statements in a separate interview.
“I seriously doubt, that if she is claiming she had a miscarriage, that she was even pregnant,” said Nicole Botes, who has known Fox for a decade. “I’d like to see actual medical reports.”
I stated yesterday that I found Fox’s claims to be suspect and more than likely false. Think Progress, Gawker, and Alan Colmes were just a representative handful of cop-hating leftists that quickly echoed the apparently bogus claims of a woman her own foster mother calls a “wannabe drama queen.”
Fox is just one of thousands of “wannabe drama queens” in the Occupy movement, and attempted to use what appears to be a faked pregnancy to manipulate public opinion. Fox and her enablers in the liberal blogosphere attempted to use this transparently suspect claim as a propaganda weapon, attempting to inflame anger against the Seattle police.
Considering that protestors in Washington State have a tendency towards militarizing against the police, Fox’s lie is very much an incitement to violence, and her allies damn well knew it.
