The saddest truth in politics is that people get the leaders they deserve

House launches ‘Fast and Furious Investigation’ web site before Holder testimony

Hey, maybe now those ignorant Democrat Congress-critters will bother to learn what their party’s leader is doing to their constituents and the innocent men, women, and children in Mexico.

But I doubt it.

The site makes it clear what their objective are right off the bat.

As facts continue to emerge about a botched gun investigation of Mexican cartels, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has given the American people reason to doubt his ability to effectively lead the Department of Justice.

His reasoning and judgment will be tested once again Thursday as he testifies about the “Fast and Furious” operation before the House Judiciary Committee. (Watch the hearing live.)

Nearly a year after a U.S. Border Patrol agent was killed by a weapon linked to the botched operation, Holder’s Justice Department has spent far more time and resources trying to salvage the careers of senior officials who knew about the operation than in creating accountability for this tragedy and ensuring that nothing like this will happen again.

The featured video is brutal as well.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chairman Darrell Issa, who also sits on the Judiciary Committee, made his views plain and set the stag for the hearing’s tone in a USA Today op-ed that published yesterday.

It’s going to get ugly as Democrat John Conyers and other gun grabbers continue to try to use the scandal to push for gun control and ignore DOJ’s criminal acts. Too bad it’s too early in the day for popcorn.

The only thing that was “botched” about this operation is that someone found out about it that wasn’t supposed to know.
And these guns were not lost. To lose something means you have to have kept track of it in the first place.
    It’s always popcorn time somewhere…
