The saddest truth in politics is that people get the leaders they deserve

This SEAL punched Jesse Ventura in the face

Written By: Bob - Jan• 05•12

Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, America’s deadliest sniper of all time with 255 kills, punched the truther former governor of Minnesota in the face for being an ass in front of the family at a wake for CMOH awardee Michael Monsoor, calling the SEALs murderers and stating that they deserved to die.

Kyle’s new book American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History just came out.

Buy it.

Because punching truthers in the face is patriotic.

Chris Kyle is a hero! Again!

While I agree with his actions, while I agree that Jesse Ventura is a blowhard who thinks that because he was somewhat famous 20 years ago he can run his mouth, I do question this SEAL admitting to battery on a syndicated radio program, the clip of which is going viral on You Tube. Lets hope that Ventura decides to just leave it alone and not get all legal on him.

Of course, if Ventura did that, most likely a full team of SEALS would hunt him down… :-)

  3. Ed Johnson says:

So….., one Seal sucker punches – with apparently no warning – another Seal twice his age, and then runs away rather than face the consequences. Sounds like one bad dude! I’m impressed. (not)

    • Dai Alanye says:

One further point about Ventura. He was a Frogman not a Seal. Still a dangerous and demanding job, and no reason to ever be ashamed of it. But Ventura seems to have a continuing need to promote himself, so chooses the slightly more prestigious title.

My only criticism of Kyle is that he punched Ventura just once.

      • Dan: FM 7-150 is quite clear. Once the opponent is down, neutralize him “with disabling kicks and blows.”

Kyle may be an excellent sniper, but he did not perform this particular task to specified conditions and standards…

a sucker puch is a puch to the back of the head. if some one is too busy running their shit eating pie hole to notice the well deserved fist comming to occupy the space thier flappin gums are at, then they got what they deserved.
ventura was speakin ill of the dead and insulting people at a wake he got schooled.

as for the one bad dude/not impressed comment im gonna put this seals record of over one hundred fifty sniper kills as impressive against your record as a big mouth any day.

I concur. For all the sue-happy modern meekness of the times, I sometimes wish we went back to policing ourselves and realizing that what’s right is more important than what’s legal.

And, by gentleman’s rule, socking some disrespectful lout in the kisser to stop him from disrespecting the dead in front of the deceased’s family was the good and proper thing to do. A kinder thing could have been done, sure, but if you attack an emotionally-charged issue, expect an emotionally-charged response.

In short: he had it comin’.

Dragon (awesome name BTW), I’m pretty sure this guy doesn’t give a shit about wrist-slapping vag like Ventura. This is an individual who understands the consequences of his actions: I shoot some evil bastard and an army comes to hunt me down. No one will save me but myself. No big deal, just another day at the office. Yeah, I think he’ll be fine and I’ll be fine when the jury lets him off because he is awesome and Ventura is another mouth in a long line of politico mouths.

  5. GreatOne says:

The time of the assault was in 2006. Most criminal and civil statute of limitations would have expired by now. Additionally, do you really think Jesse Ventura is going to sue a fellow Navy SEAL? And allege that he got his butt kicked? Not likely.

  6. CalFed says:

I understand that Fred Phelps has invited Jesse to join the Westboro Baptist Church in their next protest at a soldier’s funeral…

Born in Odessa, Texas, Kyle is the son of a Sunday school teacher and a Deacon.[1] His father bought him his first gun at 8 years old, a bolt-action .30-06 Springfield rifle and later a shotgun, with which they hunted pheasant, quail and went deer hunting.[1]

After school, Kyle became a professional bronco rodeo rider before joining the United States Navy in 1999.[3][4][2]
    [edit] Iraq War
    Main article: Iraq War

Assigned to SEAL Team 3, Sniper Element Charlie company within the Naval Special Warfare Command, over four tours of duty Kyle served in every major battle of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the Iraq War.[1]

His first long-range kill shot was taken during the initial invasion, when he shot a woman approaching a group of US Marines with a hand grenade in her hand. As ordered, he opened fire, killing the woman before she could attack.[5] During the Second Battle of Fallujah, while US Marines fought running battles in the streets with several thousand insurgents, Kyle killed 40 people.[2]

For his deadly track record as a marksman during his deployment to Ramadi, the insurgents named him Al-Shaitan Ramad (English The Devil of Rahmadi) and put a $20,000 bounty on his head.[1][2][5]

In 2008 outside Sadr City, he made his longest successful shot, after spotted an insurgent with a rocket launcher near a US Army convoy 2,100 yards (1.2 mi). He fired a shot from his .338 Lapua Magnum rifle, killing the insurgent.[1][2]

During four terms of service across Iraq, Kyle was shot twice and caught up in six separate IED explosions.[2

hmmm seems pretty impressive to me…. much more impressive than that loud mouth truther ex governor.

  9. Bubba says:

Ventura is an ass, and got what he deserved. He thinks he is better then everyone else, but Chris put him in his place. Jesse, you are a little punk!!!

  10. Bubba says:

Ventura is nothing more than a punk. He thinks is better than everyone else. I put 34 years in the military, does than make better than Jesse for putting only 20 years in? Fuck you Jesse!!!

    • CalFed says:

“I put 34 years in the military, does than make better than Jesse for putting only 20 years in?”

Jesse was with UDT for 6 years, not 20.

  11. Bubba says:

Ventura is a punk!! He deserved what he got. Chris, you did go!!!

  12. Old Nam Vet says:

When Jesse was in the Navy (1970~1974) NECs had not yet been combined. Jesse was NEC 5321 – UDT. SEALs were NEC 5326.

In 1983, iirc, the NECs were combined but the fact remains that prior to that time anyone with a 5321 was a UDT guy (Jesse) and 5326 guys were and are the real thing.

So Jesse – Please just STFU!
