The saddest truth in politics is that people get the leaders they deserve

They shoot glitter bombers, don’t they?

For some bizarre reason known only to themselves, GLBT extremists have decided within the past nine months that they would show their contempt for the free speech rights of others by “glitter-bombing” those that do not meekly accept their politics, rhetoric, and lifestyle.

The fabulous fascists have skipped out on the opportunity to target the most visible power-broker opposed to gay rights, but have instead attacked Republican Presidential candidates. It has to be unsettling campaigning for office so soon after Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was gunned down, knowing that there are crazies everywhere, especially when leftist activists have ahistory of both championing and committing murders as recently as a week ago.

Their goal is intimidation, and their chosen tactic is to mirror a close-range assassination attempt.

Frankly, if someone with a crazed look in their eyes lunges towards a candidate while reaching for a object concealed on their person, security has a right–no, an obligation–take take them down as quickly as possible, using as much force as required to subdue the attacker, up to and including less-lethal and lethal means.

Terrorism is terrorism, and should be treated as such.

If they’re close enough to throw glitter, they’re close enough to throw acid or a toxic substance. That’s the threat they are implicitly making. It’s terroristic, and should be dealt with as such.
