Like many people, I’m still in shock over Andrew Breitbart’s death. He was a “happy warrior” that understood the culture war better than almost anyone, and became iconic in a remarkably short amount of time.
Andrew was also the loving husband and father that leaves behind a young widow and four small children. I don’t pretend to be privy to his finances or his provisions for his family, but it struck me this morning that one way we could honor his memory is to make sure they are taken care of if at all possible.
Here’s the idea I had, that I already pitched on Twitter: a Breitbart tee shirt sold through the “Big” sites with all profits going to the family.
The design above is just a quick mock-up pulling together a tee shirt background from Zazzle and the cover photo from Andrew’s Righteous Indignation, but it shows what could be done, and I like to think he’d get a kick out of imagining conservative college students wearing these in counterpoint to their clueless Che-loving classmates.
I hope someone at the “Big” sites runs with this idea, and I’d be the first in line to buy one.
