The saddest truth in politics is that people get the leaders they deserve

House Oversight Committee releases briefing paper on contempt citation

You can see it here (PDF).

Doesn’t look like Speaker Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor, or other GOP leadership is on board with the contempt citation, and there are long-running rumours that they’ve actually opposed seeking justice for the 302+  murder victims of Operation Fast and Furious. It’s time to start planning to primary them,  since they are far more interested in holding office and sucking off the public teat than defending the Constitution.

Did any serious conservative believe Holder would be cited for contempt?

I keep getting phone calls from various GOP organizations to which I had previously donated and they are asking me for donations again. I answer each one the same way . . . when the establishment of the GOP begins to listen to the Tea Party and the Libertarian leaning members of the GOP, and when the GOP begins to throw out RINOs like Dick Lugar then, and only then, will I give money to the GOP.

Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor are THE PROBLEM not the solution. When they begin doing what is right rather than what is easy then they will see support for the GOP climb.

He’s (Boehner) probably just too busy weeping. Between him and George Voinovich it’s getting downright embarrassing for us Buckeyes.
