There has been a tremendous display of racism so far at the 2012 Republican National Convention, and that’s just within MSNBC, which did a Stalinist purge of GOP minority speakers:
One of the left’s favorite attacks on the Republican Party is that it is the party of old white people, devoid of diversity and probably racist.
If you were watching MSNBC’s coverage of the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday night, you might believe those assertions, since missing from the coverage was nearly every ethnic minority that spoke during Tuesday’s festivities.
In lieu of airing speeches from former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, a black American; Mia Love, a black candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Utah; and Texas senatorial hopeful Ted Cruz, a Latino American, MSNBC opted to show commentary anchored by Rachel Maddow from Rev. Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Chris Hayes and Steve Schmidt.
Only South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, a Sikh Indian-American, did not get “whitewashed” by MSNBC’s clannish producers, presumably because she “passed for white.”
The media hatred of Republicans wasn’t limited to MSNBC by any stretch, with Yahoo! Washington Bureau Chief David Chalian caught saying that Mitt Romney would be “happy to have a party when black people drown” in reference to Hurricane Issac making landfall in Louisiana.
Chalian was since fired by a backpedaling Yahoo!, but the disturbing truth remained that he felt comfortable making such a comment among his fellow partisan newsmen, and that at least one of them could be heard to laugh in response.
When there weren’t minorities to “disappear” or be used in grotesque imagery, liberal reporters too it upon themselves to simply make things up, as Harper’s Jack Hitt did, inventing racism where he expected it to be.
The Mainstream Media’s willingness to manufacture racism in support of their allegiance with their fellow Stalinists in the Democratic Party never ceased to amaze me. That they’re willing to make their racism so obvious tells me just how far their feigned standards have fallen.
