I’m not usually into anything other than utilitarian earth-tone paint schemes, but while scanning though images of custom Springfield Armory XDs last night, I found an exception.

Springfield Armory XD by Canyon Creek Custom.

I could go for that. Classy and sophisticated, without going over the top into gaudiness.

    My only problem with that is that shade of bright blue is traditionally the color of inert training rounds/weapons in the Army. At first glance, I thought that was a training pistol…

    That is going to cause some confusion, I would think.

      This is a much more metallic blue than the normal blue-gun blue. But, I concede you might be right so I’d love to see them side by side IRL to judge this better.

    Man, that is a handsome color scheme. Very elegant. I bet it would look good on a Sig… I’m sure that color is banned in NYC.
