The 2012 Democratic National Convention chose Charlotte, NC, in hopes of keeping North Carolina’s electoral votes in Obama’s pocket after the narrowest of victories in 2008. After a convention in which Democratic delegates rejected God three times, it now appears the state is lost:
Mitt Romney has cleared the 50% mark again in the battleground state of North Carolina despite the presence of the Democratic National Convention there little over a week ago.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely North Carolina Voters shows Romney with 51% support to President Obama’s 45%. One percent (1%) likes some other candidate in the race, and three percent (3%) are undecided.
The stunning incompetence of Barack Obama’s presidency is going to be washed away in an electoral tsunami in November, with high voter turnout among Republicans and conservatives, consistent independent and moderate turnout in favor of Romney, and depressed turnout among Democrats.
Barring massive voter fraud enabled by a corrupt Department of Justice, Obama-Biden will be swept onto the ashheap of history as the worst of failed presidencies.
Update: Surprising no one, Obama’s failure in North Carolina is part of a national trend.
