U.S. Ambassador to Libya, three senior staffers murdered by Islamist mob

Written By: Bob - Sep• 12•12

Islamists in Libya attacked the U.S. consulate with automatic weapons and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), murdering U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three senior embassy employees.

This is literally, without any hyperbole, an act of war against the United States:

The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other embassy staff were killed in a rocket attack on their car, a Libyan official said, as they were rushed from a consular building stormed by militants denouncing a U.S.-made film insulting the Prophet Mohammad.

Gunmen had attacked and burned the U.S. consulate in the eastern city of Benghazi, a center of last year’s uprising against Muammar Gaddafi, late on Tuesday evening, killing one U.S. consular official. The building was evacuated.

The Libyan official said the ambassador, Christopher Stevens, was being driven from the consulate building to a safer location when gunmen opened fire.

“The American ambassador and three staff members were killed when gunmen fired rockets at them,” the official in Benghazi told Reuters.

These murders in Libya, along with the attack in Cairo, Egypt, are allegedly due to Muslim outrage over an independent film that criticized Mohammed. Dr. Keith Ablow is currently on Fox News right now, explaining that this sort of fanaticism that Islamists view as normal is literally insane.

We’re normal. They’re nuts. That’s bad.”

Let CAIR pitch an absolute fit if the must, but best-selling author and psychiatrist hit the nail on the head: radical Islam is the religion of the insane, and by definition, they cannot be reasoned with.

This is the 3:00 AM phone call that Hillary Clinton warned us Obama was unprepared to answer when she was campaigning against him in 2008. Now Hillary is Obama’s Secretary of State. As we grieve those lost, the world awaits Obama’s response.

And Obama ignored his warnings in an actual war, unlike Bush, who hadn’t invaded anyone before 9/11.
