The saddest truth in politics is that people get the leaders they deserve

Notorious One-Percenter “Big Bird” orders Obama to take down ad

Written By: Bob - Oct• 09•12

Wealthy Avian-American refuses to be exploited by the Obama Administration for political gain.

Big Bird refuses to become a rallying point for a panicked, desperate Obama campaign:

After Americans ridiculed President Obama’s new Sesame Street ad this morning, Sesame Workshop has requested the campaign to take down the ad.

“We do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns,” the organization said in a statement. “We have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down.”

Perhaps the President shouldn’t have spent the past four years looking down his nose at Prairie Dawn, or assuming he had the votes of Log Cabin Republicans Bert and Ernie.

Obama’s bizarre focus on Sesame Street elicited a response from Mitt Romney:

“You have to scratch your head when the president spends the last week talking about saving Big Bird,” he said. “I actually think we need to have a president who talks about saving the American people and saving good jobs.”

And yet, nearly 52% of this country seem to think the President is doing just fine.

I’m still confused. How many millions of dollars does the CTW rake in every year selling stuffed Big Birds, Tickle-Me-Elmos and the like? But people think that Big Brother still needs to subsidize PBS?
