Ray Smith, a Marine “tunnel rat” in Vietnam, wants answers from the Obama Administration about the death of his son, Sean Smith, in Benghazi.
He deserves answers. We all do.
More than 20 and as many as 30 Americans were abandoned to die in Benghazi as Barack Obama watched them being attacked from the White House situation room. Obama didn’t count on a team of CIA operators denying direct orders, and engineering a breath-taking escape.
Two of those CIA operators, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, later died defending the rescued consulate staff near the end of the seven-hour battle in which the Obama Administration denied air and ground support.
Heads should roll, especially if it is proven that the consulate was running guns from Libya to al Qaeda in Syria. Supplying weapons to the enemy in a time of war is treason.
Reelection and impeachment should be the least of Obama’s worries, considering the possibility of his receiving a needle in Leavenworth.
What a disgrace.
