Obama Administration refusing to prosecute existing gun crimes

Written By: Bob - Jan• 09•13

In the past 72 hours the mainstream media has made a concerted effort to keep the far left’s gun confiscation agenda in the public’s consciousness, including an article from CBS News which shows that Democrats want more restrictions, even though the Justice Department fails to enforce existing laws:

Mr. Obama wants Congress to reinstate a ban on military-style assault weapons, close loopholes that enable gun buyers to skirt background checks and restrict high-capacity magazines.

Other recommendations to the Biden group include making gun-trafficking a felony, getting the Justice Department to prosecute people caught lying on gun background-check forms, and ordering federal agencies to send data to the National Gun Background Check Database.

That’s right folks; despite the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s efforts to stop these so-called “strawman” purchases with the Don’t Lie For the Other Guy campaign, it is the government itself which refuses to actively prosecute straw purchasers.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Further, the failure of the Justice Department to prosecute these strawman purchases was the exact reason cited by the BATFE for conducting  Operations Wide Receiver and Fast and Furious.

Let that sink in as well.

300+ Mexican nationals and three U.S. agents have been gunned down as a result of DOJ refusing to prosecute cases under existing laws.

Do you think Congress and the White House have any business proposing new laws, when they refuse to hold DOJ to account for those already on the books?

So it should be clear that Obama doesn’t want to disarm criminals.

He’s spent the last 4 years fevorishly arming Americas enemies:
    Mexican drug cartels
    Honduran drug cartels
    FARC in Columbia
Al Queada in Libya and Siria
    Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt

Apparently, the only people he’d like to disarm are patriotic, law abiding American citizens.

Why do you continue to think that a government composed of criminal gangsters will act in a lawful fashion?

Er, is government restraint in enforcing gun laws a bad thing?

Gun laws are like any other law. Laws (including even those against murder) are enforced selectively. Laws are for controlling the peons, not for the supposed good of “society”.
