I’ve liked running my AR just as “slick” as possible, with just a two-point GI sling, a 1-4 scope, and back-up iron sights. I don’t believe in running lasers or foregrips and anything else that affects the basic manual of arms… but I’m thinking about changing that.
Inforce WML, top-mounted from Jerking the Trigger
Over the past few days I’ve been doing some reading about weapon lights (such as this JTT review) and have decided that I want to go with the Inforce WML, the white-light-only, momentary-on-only variant, keeping things just a simple as possible.
I neither need nor want a 3 billion lumen light that flash-fries anyone it covers, needs battery changes every 37 seconds, and needs its own porter. For the purposes of a short-range, indoor WML, it seems just about perfect.
So my question is this: has anyone had a bad experience with either Inforce (the company) or the WML itself?
If not, one or two of these may be finding their way to my home when I have the cash.

I bought one. They tend to be back-ordered. Very light.
I run the Surefire Scout C600 that I got in Iraq witht he pressure sensitive on/off that goes on my front vertical grip… lightweight, bright and useful.
I have had some problems with WMLs that clip to the picatinny that are spring loaded. Fire couple of rounds and they fly off.
Got them at shows…get what you pay for though. Lesson learned.

I’ve used a Streamlight light/laser on my AR for years, and have been quite happy with it. It’s a selectable light only, laser only, or light and laser combined setup. The on switch is a lever on the light that’s easily accessible with your weak hand. If you do buy NV goggles, the laser at night on predators is awesome. Paint em and shoot em.
