The saddest truth in politics is that people get the leaders they deserve

Former LAPD officer on rampage, still at large; media deletes half of his manifesto, which reveals him to be a racist, gun control fanatic, and Obama fanboy.

It reads like the plot to a bad revenge-themed action movie:

A former Los Angeles cop who allegedly warned he would target law enforcement in retribution for being fired is now suspected of shooting three officers early Thursday, killing one, authorities said.

The shootings — which come a day after Irvine, California, police named Christopher Jordan Dorner as the suspect in a double slaying there Sunday — sparked a huge manhunt in Southern California.

It also left officers extremely jittery. According to a senior law enforcement source, two people were wounded when officers in Torrance, California, opened fire on a blue pickup truck after it pulled up in front of a house where they were guarding a fellow officer Dorner had allegedly named as a target.

The truck — which turned out to be a newspaper delivery vehicle — resembled the truck Dorner is believed to be driving, the source said. Police also shot at another blue pickup in that city, but no one was injured in that incident, the source said.

The California Highway Patrol issued an alert Thursday morning urging officers in several Southern California counties to be on the lookout for the onetime officer and Navy lieutenant who allegedly threatened police officers and their families in a lengthy letter complaining of his treatment by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The Dorner manifesto is chilling to behold.

As Christopher Dorner tells the tale, a good cop turns in a bad cop to internal affairs for beating a suspect in handcuffs, earns the ire of the department for crossing the “thin blue line,” sees his career and life destroyed as a result, and goes on a bloody rampage to get to those who have tormented him. The vendetta targets LAPD officers, brass, and their families, and seems to threaten anyone who attempts to help injured officers.

So far, he has executed the daughter of a former police captain and her fiancee, killed one LAPD officer and has wounded two more (one seriously) as the manhunt widens. He claims to own .50 BMG rifles and even more incredibly claims to have SA-7s, which are first generation man-portable surface-to-air missiles of Russian design.

The LAPD is freaking out in result to Dorner’s rampage and have already shot up two vehicles, with more than 40 rounds fired into one vehicle sending two people to the hospital. Rather obviously, Dorner has one of the largest police forces in the United States reacting rashly and dangerously, and we can only hope that no one is killed by a trigger happy cop firing at ghosts and shadows.

The only thing more chilling than the Dorner manifesto linked above, is the partial Dorner manifesto (PDF) being misrepresented as a complete document, where his gun-control loving, pro-Hillary, pro-Obama, rants are completely edited out. Yes, like the Occupy terroristsFloyd Corkins, and Nkosi Thandiwe, Christopher Dorner is another radical left wing terrorist the media is trying hard to cover up for, even as they are forced to cover his crimes.

It’s highly unethical, dishonest, and well, your media folks. They’ll cover up whatever they deem fit to protect their narrative.

In the destruction of America as we know it, the media(and those individuals of the media) part in it must never be forgotten nor forgiven!

    Death before slavery!

  2. Prud says:

We will see more and more of these types of killings and sprees as the people of the US begin to rise up against police state terrorism.

  3. Publius says:

As several commenters have said at the sites you link, this guy’s an irrefutable argument for high-capacity magazines.

  4. While I have no sympathy for this left-wing terrorist, his “success” does indicate how vulnerable the police force is to somebody who knows what they’re doing. The Patriot community ought to be heartened by that knowledge. If push comes to shove, the counterattack can be carried to the police.

    • Phelps says:

I was just thinking that. ONE guy has the entire LAPD soiling its trousers and shooting at shadows, yet they think that they can forcibly disarm millions of gun owners without retribution?

    • rodgerjackson says:

To call him a terrorist and you do not know what really happened is wrong, check into the story and see some of the stuff, he was fired because he reported a person for abusing a suspect, they say he was lying and fired him. ANyone working in law knows that telling on a fellow officers is a way to get fired and have lies spread on you. He is said to have violated the think blue line, that police have and no one knows why he shot the others or the police, so let the story unfold.

    Oh, terrific.

  6. Comrade X says:

    This explains it all;

    From Christopher Dorner’s manifesto:

    Loves Piers Morgan:

…give Piers Morgan an indefinite resident alien and Visa card. Mr. Morgan, the problem that many American gun owners have with you and your continuous discussion of gun control is that you are not an American citizen and have an accent that is distinct and clarifies that you are a foreigner. I want you to know that I agree with you 100% on enacting stricter firearm laws….

  7. Django says:

He was fired for what? When others that did worse are protected and LAPD wants Manefesto read on the radio. Hmmm, there is alot here we will never know after he is dead.

    • Jane says:

      He is dead

    • rodgerjackson says:

He made a report that someone under his command beat a suspect with handcuffs, they say he lied in fired him. Everybody knows about the thin blue line, this happened i think 5 years ago, and he just acting the fool now, what are they not telling.

  8. Thomas says:

I was wondering why the media wasn’t calling him a right wing terrorist yet. These left wingers are crazy. Mabye we need to disarm them and the cops while we are at since they are shooting civies. It bothers me that the cops are not getting more attention for shooting people like this.

  9. Klingonwork says:

I agree with above, we are going to start seeing much more of this…and as someone else pointed out, all these resources for just 1 person? Imagine them trying to take the weapons of 90 million Americans or 11 green berets.

On another note, will those of you who pray please include my nephew Christopher. He is SWAT in San Bernadino and is there now searching for Mr. Dorner. We just celebrated his new son, my grand nephew.

    Thank You
    Klingonwork

  10. Bill says:

I’m going to hold off on the celbrating. But the point that one man can tie up this many resources is worth noting. However, if they do go into gun grab mode, they won’t tell you. It’ll be lies, dissemination and obfuscation.

And it’ll be a first strike. Hit hard, fast, and diverse. It’s the American way.

    That’s the reality.

The only thing we can do is illustrate the utter folly of this scenario and how it is better to rework the system so everyone benefits.

That will take work, and some serious slash and burn at various agencies. Pushback is happening though. Heavily, and angrily.

As an aside. as someone who once found himself within 10 feet of a surprised Lynx I have a very hard line on the need for weapon ownership. I survived, as I said I surprised the Lynx cats don’t like being surprised I had a weapon, a stick generally called a baton, and it decided flight was the better part of valor. It was a very uncomfortable week for me knowing a big cat was around. Oh and just for chuckles I was in an upper class suburb.

  13. smitty says:

Let’s see if THIS rampage is useful to the gun grabbers…

    Probably not…’cause he’s a former cop!

And look at the performance of current SoCal cops in this situation:

“It also left officers extremely jittery. According to a senior law enforcement source, two people were wounded when officers in Torrance, California, opened fire on a blue pickup truck after it pulled up in front of a house where they were guarding a fellow officer Dorner had allegedly named as a target.

Rather obviously, Dorner has one of the largest police forces in the United States reacting rashly and dangerously, and we can only hope that no one is killed by a trigger happy cop firing at ghosts and shadows.”

Now, when (’cause it’s highly likely significant numbers will obey whatever orders they’re given…as they have already been doing so for some time) police officers attempt to confiscate arms from the citizenry it is inevitable that there will be forceful resistance…in light of the reckless out-of-control trigger-happy behavior described above…how they gonna behave…with us?

Sort of casts an interesting light on whose hands are the right ones for arms, doesn’t it?

Dude…if you have a blue pickup truck in Southern California…better park it…in the garage.

Then there’s this: “As Christopher Dorner tells the tale, a good cop turns in a bad cop to internal affairs for beating a suspect in handcuffs, earns the ire of the department for crossing the “thin blue line,” sees his career and life destroyed…”

IF true, it doesn’t justify indiscriminate bloodshed, but, it should be thoroughly investigated in order to establish the truth of the matter.

Police rarely stand up and point out the ‘bad apples’ that likely exist in most police organizations, and if Dorner’s allegations are accurate, then the “thin blue line” police culture is at least partially and significantly responsible for this police version of “going postal”…

Is it just me, or do things seem to be ratcheting up to ‘critical mass’ on a daily basis?

  14. Greg B says:

Not to mice words, but I think it was a Riverside cop that was killed.
Also, heard on the radio tonight that the Navy kicked him out of the reserves.
And I got the impression being kicked out of the reserves is what set him off.
The report made it sound like that happened recently.

  15. DAN III says:

    Think “Frank Serpico”.

  16. wildninja says:

While it’s important that this guy’s political views be accurately represented so his crimes aren’t portrayed as fueled by the right, there is much more to the force driving this. I just went into this in detail in my nook of cyberspace, but he feels that he’ll regain his power and credibility through the sacrifice of these victims. Essentially, he’s a vampire. And he’s wrong about McCain.

  17. louielouie says:

    Show me the money!
Before we all get all giddy about who we are going to be facing in the
coming so-called armed conflict, let’s take a look at who we will be
    facing and why.
It’s my impression this gun control push is a federal matter. That says
to me, there will not be any local yocals coming around to ask you for
    your guns.
Let me digress for a ‘sec here and ask a question. Is there anyone here
who thinks Obamacare is about healthcare? If you do, go sit in the silly
    corner while I continue.
    Show me the money!
Here’s another question for you. Is there anyone here who thinks the gun
control grab is about getting your guns? If so, join ’em.
The questions continue. What was the source of Adolph Hitler’s power?
The luftwaffe. No, they just bombed and killed people. The Wehrmacht.
No, they just shelled and killed people. The SS? No. The Gestapo? No.
The source of Hitler’s power were German file clerks.
At the risk of getting on Bob’s bad side, he made a post a couple of
days ago that I thought was pretty funny. He equated the right to bear
arms to the right to vote. He even agreed to the background checks for
both, if my limited memory serves me correctly.
    Show me the money!
One more question. What the hell does a background check on a voter,
have to do with an election official sitting at a computer keyboard, and
    entering an arbitrary number?
If you want to talk voter fraud then let’s do it.
Does anyone really believe Romney only got 5% of the vote in
Philadelphia? What about those counties in Ohio where he didn’t get any
    votes?
    Show me the money!
Another question. Ok, I lied. When was the last time you stood in line
at your job and got paid in cash? Do you really believe your 401K is
safe and secure? Does anyone here have any investments made through a
securities broker? Wall Street investments? Are you sure about that
social security compensation you have? If so, where do you have it? Just
tell me where all these safe places are?
    Show me the money!
The bottom line is you better enjoy Hussein’s days in the White House.
He is going to be the most conservative president we will see in our
    lifetimes.
With the click of a mouse, in the caverns of offices somewhere in
deecee, your refusal to hand over your arms will be met with cheers of glee.
It’s a fire sale guys. But the people holding it reside at 1600
    Pennsylvania avenue, and environs.
Now tell me, do you really think they want the guns?
    Puuhleeze.
They want you to keep your guns.
    Show me the money!

  18. thebronze says:

It was a Riverside PD officer he murdered, not LAPD.

  19. bogbeagle says:

When Raoul Moat, in England, killed one man/injured two others … using a shotgun … 6,000 armed policeman took a week to find him.

    Then, he shot himself.

They enlisted aircraft and the media in the search.

“Their” power and authority is an illusion. He was known to possess only a double-barreled shotgun.

He wrote a “manifesto”, too. Claimed that he was “traffic-stopped” 200 times in one year, by the same group of coppers. He kept note of it all. Never charged with any offence.

  20. Wraith says:

…and we can only hope that no one is killed by a pants-wetting coward with a badge firing at ghosts and shadows.

Fixed that for ya. Over the last couple of decades, far too many of our nation’s police officers have mutated from Peace Officers, to Law Enforcement Officers, to Government Bullies.

Peace Officers would throw themselves in front of a bullet to protect a citizen, because they knew that was the right thing to do.

Law Enforcement Officers would throw themselves in front of a bullet to protect a citizen, because they knew that was what they signed on to do.

Government Bullies will blow away some little old lady’s Pomeranian, because “I’m going home at the end of my shift!”

As honor and courage decline, abuse and oppression rise. Most of today’s badge-carriers aren’t worthy to stand in the shadow of the cops of old.
