Why does the media keep telling this lie?

That was the day two strangers — Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager walking back with Skittles and an iced tea he’d picked up at 7-Eleven, and George Zimmerman, a white Hispanic neighborhood watch volunteer in Sanford, Florida — met for the first and only time.
Trayvon Martin didn’t purchase tea, and he didn’t have tea in his possession when he died. He instead had watermelon fruit cocktail, and that is a significant detail with a difference.
When mixed with cough syrup, Skittles and this watermelon fruit cocktail formed “purple drank” which appeared to be Trayvon Martin’s favorite way to get high. Taken in high concentrations, the Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DHM) is compared to ketamin or PCP.
i think it was equal parts shielding trayvon from association with drugs and getting ‘tea’ in web search terms. the drink wasn’t mislabeled coca-cola for a reason. gotta drag these baggers through the mud if possible.
The mainstream media are paid liars doing propaganda for the regime. Not every story, but certainly on anything where there’s an anti-liberty political angle to push.
When the bell tolls for those who are traitors to our constitution; many of today’s media should be some of the first in that line!

It’s more likely just plain incompetence. The news is always wrong. Always. It’s the one constant in the media — in every story, there is a major detail that is just flat out wrong.
I would believe it was simple error if the errors weren’t so consistent.
…and always in the same statist direction.
Why do you want to mess up a story with facts. The “state” has told us that Trayvon was an innocent, an honor student, an athlete, a rising star. The evil white man (who is actually a Hispanic) only want to kill this poor innocent due to his racism. That is the real story, we should all hang our heads in guilt as we are all racist.
I forgot. I was just watching CNN and found that the whole problem with the economy is the Republican party and the fact that they will not provide a budget that Obama likes. So everything is the fault of white males.

It should add at least one “zero” to his check when he wins his lawsuit.

But Trevon was a choirboyalthough someone forged his facebook page with all sorts of drug messages.
The link was highly informative. I’m surprised to hear this “Drank” goes back to the sixties.
1) I assume that the Arizona Watermelon drink is used to dilute or hide the cough syrup. But what do the Skittles have to do with it?
2) When did we find out that the Arizona Tea was really Arizona Watermelon?
3) And who revealed the “error”?
I’m curious because this is the first time I’ve heard about any of this.
1). The Skittles skittles presumably help with the taste.
2). The yellow tarp in the photo is covering Trayvon Martin’s body. The media knew what it was from the moment this incident began.
3). Blogs revealed the error.
They were too busy making up and pinning a crime on the Hispanic guy with the caucasian name.

I don’t doubt that Sharpton’s interest was piqued particularly by the idea of another chance to play out his dream of murdering Jews. It’s been so long since Crown Heights and Freddy’s Fashion Mart.
