Dykes had a message he wanted the news media to put out, I can’t help but consider what would have happened if they, the media, had complied? Would he have released the boy?

I would ALWAYS like to hear what message needs that kind of censorship.

One thing which I think is quite obvious, there is much more to this story than they are allowing us to know. I would like all the facts, but doubt we will ever have them.

So I’m interested to know, since the writer insists Dykes had no business owning a gun, does the writer support background checks for all weapons sales, or do you support police confiscating weapons from folks merely accused of a crime?

The media sells a product, like any marketing mope they sensationalize. Caveat emptor.

Wat are we going to do to keep weapons out of the hands of The Jimmys of the world? The media didn’t kill that bus driver or traumatized that child. A gunman did that.

The screaming of some words by the media overshadows everything else, “VIETNAM VET blah blah SHOTGUN/ASSAULT RIFLE, blah blah blah SCHOOL BUS, blah blah CHILDREN IN DANGER, MURDER and most of all the repeated use of the word BUNKER when describing a common item in Alabama peoples yards…a tornado shelter.

BUNKER, ASSAULT RIFLE,WHITE, VIETNAM VETERAN, BEATS DOGS TO DEATH WITH LEAD PIPE.
The media’s reporters get positively hysterical in their reporting.
