The saddest truth in politics is that people get the leaders they deserve

“…limits on bullets in gun cartridges”

Written By: Bob - Mar• 18•13

It’s impossible to take an editorialist like the Baltimore Sun’s Jules Whitcover seriously when his ignorance of his subject matter is so clearly on display:

But while he has already endorsed the ban, the background checks and limits on bullets in gun cartridges, Mr. Obama’s emphasis again seemed to be on achieving a vote on each rather than a demand for passage.

By all means, read the entire editorial.

Whitcover rather obviously thinks anyone can buy a gun at a gun show more easily than anywhere else, doesn’t grasp the basic difference between a clip and a magazine, can’t tell a cartridge from a bullet, or a military firearm from a civilian rifle.

He’s an average member of the modern mainstream media; uneducated, uninterested, arrogant, and uninformed.

    And not very intelligent either!

    Death before slavery!

  2. Real Deal says:

What do you expect coming from the Democratic People’s Republic of Maryland? The DPRMD is following CA’s example of governing. Owe’Malley claims he cares about the poor and the low income yet raises the sales tax, keeps trying for a gas tax, imposes new taxes on cigarettes & alcohol, and tosses gambling into the mix. He also has national ambitions so look (out) for him in the future.

…she asked Mr. Cruz. “Do they need a bazooka?” – Diane Feinstein

Well since DHS is buying Mine Resistant Armored Protection vehicles we probably do. Why does DHS need this along with enough ammo to fight the Iraq War for 24 years (or shoot every American 5x)?

Someone please explain to me the logic in limiting magazine capacity? 7, 10, 15, or 100…it takes only 1 to do the work.

The only possibility I see is as we’ve all been saying, a whittling away of the 2nd ammendment.

The anti-gun crowd has convinced itself and is trying to convince everyone else the 2nd was for hunters and skeet shooters.

Yes…we do need a bazooka. Bazookas, AR15s, automatic weapons, hand grenades, and whatever we can get our hands on to combat tyranny and slavery. Hence, the 2nd ammendment.

I’m sorry I know you know all this already but writing it down and talking about it gives me a temporary reprieve from banging my head on the desk. Having a Dr. Phil moment.

    Now back to the banging…

I wonder if someone has told this guy about high capacity shotgun shells. While many of mine are low capacity 9 pellet shells I understand there are some, readily available, with as many as 500 pellets. One shell alone could wipe out an entire school. I suspect it’s better to not go down that path.

People like him would faint if they knew the true volume of ammunition, bullets, powder, primers, etc. which has been bought up by the liberty minded individuals here in the U.S. over the last four plus years. Most likely the ammo is being bought up in anticipation of further scarcity during Obama’s America but there could be other reasons too.

  7. BillC says:

Maybe the government should look into these high capacity cartridges. Maybe they can find a way to make them like the ICBM MIRV’s. One shot could hit three or more separate targets.

Where does this guy stay at? Where is he employed? He must gave a favorite bar somewhere. Someone needsto get closer for a face to face conversation…

There’s always one guy that didn’t get the memo about SPIW being cancelled lo’ so many years ago.
