The saddest truth in politics is that people get the leaders they deserve

Biden asserts non-hunters aren’t “real” gun owners in sad attempt to divide and conquer all

"Need advice on how to go to jail for gun crimes up to an including murder? Ask me how!"

“Now aim at your foot, and fire two blasts…”

Oh, Joe.

Poor Joe.

Slow Joe.

Your gun control arguments are really getting desperate:

During a conversation about gun violence on MSNBC this morning, Vice President Joe Biden explained that there was a growing group of gun owners that might not understand guns as well as hunters.

“There is a whole new sort of group of individuals now who – I don’t know what the numbers are – that never hunt at all,” Biden said. “But they own guns for one of two reasons, self-protection or they just like the feel of that AR-15 at the range. They like the way it feels.”

Biden imitated holding a weapon and added, “You know, it’s like driving a Ferrari, Do you know what I mean?”

Joe Biden is a jackass.

Do you know what I mean?

The Second Amendment was not written to protect our hunting rights. Not one of the 27 words in that Amendment mentions ducks, bears, squirrels, or fowl, nor the manner of taking such game. Instead, it states:

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

A “well-regulated militia” is a group of American citizens that operate their firearms smoothly and with precision, just as a mechanical watch is well-regulated if it keep time with accuracy and precision.

Why are those American citizens skilled with their arms necessary? For “the security of a free state.”

It’s damned simple, Joe.

Any good American who still believes in what this Republic stands for knows that they have not just a right, but a duty to be proficient with arms in order to defend this nation against tyrants foreign and domestic.

It is our God-given right, Joe, that you may not infringe upon, to own any small arm we see fit to defend this Republic from her would-be predators, and that includes politicians that would usurp those rights to increase their own power and that of the government over the People.

Tread carefully.

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. If the Left doesn’t respect our right to liberty why should we respect their right to live?

Hey Joe, how bout a nice cup of STFU.

  4. It’s the “You don’t need a Ferrari” argument. It’s a twofer: Marxist class envy, and characterizing owning a gun as the same kind of thing as having a hobby sportscar; that is, the kind of thing government can take with impunity.

I have a lot more to say on this at my blog, The Backwoods Engineer.

Well, I do agree that sedans with 300+ HP engines have no place on American roads. My 25 year old Benz, which was made with real steel, was rated at 150HP when new. Even today it is capable and quite comfortable at 95MPH. Why would anyone need a more powerful car?

As Col. Jeff Cooper said, it’s not the right to keep and bear sporting goods!
