The mainstream media simply can’t seem to help itself. Despite the unimpeachable, documented facts that all recent terror plots within the past 1-2 years were tied to left-wing extremists (Occupy Cleveland bridge bomb plot, attempted FRC mass murder) or Muslim terrorists, CNN’s Tim Lister and Paul Cruickshank are still trying to assert that conservatives are behind the Boston marathon bombing.
Evidence? Who needs evidence?
The devices used in the Boston Marathon attack Monday are typical of the “lone wolf:” the solo terrorist who builds a bomb on his own by following a widely available formula.
In this case, the formula seems very similar to one that al Qaeda has recommended to its supporters around the world as both crudely effective and difficult to trace. But it is also a recipe that has been adopted by extreme right-wing individuals in the United States.
To borrow a phrase from the Demagogue-in-Chief, let me be clear: there is no evidence whatsoever that any politically conservative/Republican/libertarian group has ever created a device of this kind. These bombs are common in Afghanistan/Pakistan/Tibet/Kashmir, and appear to be isolated to that part of the world for now as far as it’s use as an actual weapon, until now.
CN goes on to claim that, “A senior U.S. counterterrorism investigator told CNN that pressure cooker bombs have also been a signature of extreme right-wing individuals in the United States who he said tend to revel in building homemade bombs.”
Really? I want to see evidence supporting this claim. Otherwise, I’m going to write this off as another Obama Administration official libeling conservatives.
