There were a few news items last week that took precedence over the story of Jared Marcum daring to assert his First Amendment rights to an absurd middle school teacher who told him to change out of a pro-Second Amendment tee shirt that conformed to the school’s dress code. Marcum wasn’t just suspended for wearing the shirt, he was arrested in a display of the abject, hysterical insanity that has taken over the public educational system.
Well, Jared returned to school wearing the same shirt, essentially daring the school to try this horsecrap again:
The West Virginia eighth-grader who was suspended and, astonishingly, arrested last week after he refused to remove a t-shirt supporting the National Rifle Association returned to school on Monday.
In a move The Daily Caller can only characterize as courageous, 14-year-old Jared Marcum returned to Logan Middle School in Logan County, West Va., wearing exactly the same shirt, which depicts a hunting rifle with the statement “protect your right.”
Marcum was not confronted, arrested, or suspended, nor were other students that wore similar shirts in support. His attorney expects the absurd criminal charges to be dropped, and i can hardly wait for the civil rights trial.
“Marcum Middle School” has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?
Presumably, Marcum was whistling this tune when he strolled back into school…
… though not necessarily this “clean” version of the song.
