FBI changes story: Tsarnaev friend was unarmed when he was Trayvoned by federal agent

Written By: Bob - May• 30•13

Yes, I know it isn’t fair to George Zimmerman to keep comparing the FBI’s questionable shooting of Ibragim Todashev to the legitimate self-defense shooting of drug-abusing, gun-waving, street-fighting Trayvon Martin, but I do love rubbing their noses in the absurdity of Zimmerman facing 2nd degree murder charges for what was clearly legitimate self defense, while this FBI agent will likely get off without so much as a reprimand for what might be possible manslaughter:

A Chechen man who was fatally shot by an FBI agent last week during an interview about one of the Boston bombing suspects was unarmed, law enforcement officials said Wednesday.

An air of mystery has surrounded the FBI shooting of Ibragim Todashev, 27, since it occurred in Todashev’s apartment early on the morning of May 22. The FBI said in a news release that day that Todashev, a former Boston resident who knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed during an interview with several law enforcement officers.

The FBI has provided few other details, saying that the matter is being investigated by an FBI review team that may not finish its probe for several months.

“The FBI takes very seriously any shooting incidents involving our agents and as such we have an effective, time-tested process for addressing them internally,” FBI spokesman Paul Bresson said in a statement Wednesday. “The review process is thorough and objective and conducted as expeditiously as possible under the circumstances.”

Update: Shot 7 times, including the back of the head?

  1. Real Deal says:

But Bob, he was an MMA fighter. Is he ever truly unarmed?

  2. Bill says:

We’re heading for the real deal soon, aren’t we? They don’t even pretend at this point.

  3. RuralGal says:

No comparison – he wasn’t holding a baby.

  4. Tucker says:

This kind of blatant, cold blooded murder being committed by FBI thugs is clearly a sign that the current mindset of all law enforcement jackboots is that they are able to do anything they please, and there will be no punishment or repercussions.

I made a prediction, back during the deliberate execution of Dorner – and I posted that prediction here and Bob Owens didn’t like it, but I flatly stated that if we continue to let cops get by with the kind of behavior they heaped upon Dorner, then this kind of arrogant, out of control, totalitarian thug behavior would continue to get worse and worse.

I was right. And, now these jackbooted creeps are just summarily executing people and they have no fear whatsoever of going to jail for it.

The FBI is going to ‘investigate itself’? Come on, folks. What a pathetic joke.

  5. sound awake says:

He was unarmed…just like lee harvey oswald…

And they say the Putin carried out Boston as a falseflag. Seems like some people are getting too anxious to ‘flip the script’ and divert attention elsewhere. Too many Chris Kyle colleagues standing around with backpacks very similar to those used by the Tsarnaev bros — not saying they didn’t use it. And now this and 2 FBI guys dying in a helo rappelling accident. How high does the body count of investigators and peripheral witnesses have to get before you put your tin foil hat on Bob?

Oh Pulleeze don’t make a verb out of Trayvon to indicate an unwarranted killing. If anything, “Trayvonned” should indicate an unwarranted attack by a thug on a pedestrian.
