More deaths connected to Fast and Furious guns

Written By: Bob - Jul• 06•13

Two more deaths and two more people were wounded with firearms provided to the Sinaloa drug cartel by the Obama Administration’s Operation Fast and Furious, including a Mexican police chief and his bodyguard:

Another weapon lost in the Obama administration’s failed Fast and Furious gun-tracking operation has purportedly been traced to two more killings, including the fatal shooting of a police chief in Mexico.

The officer, Luis Lucio Rosales Astorga, was killed Jan. 29 in the city of Hostotipaquillo, which is in central-western Mexico, when gunmen intercepted his patrol car and opened fire, according to Justice Department records obtained by The Los Angeles Times. The chief’s bodyguard was also killed, a second bodyguard and the chief’s wife were wounded.

2,500 guns were smuggled to the cartel, and obstruction into a congressional investigation of the plot by Attorney General Eric Holder has placed in him in criminal contempt of Congress (a criminal charge that a tyrannical government refuses to prosecute).

The Fast and Furious body count is now at 304+, and counting. The Obama Administration continues to stonewall the Congressional investigation.

  1. rasputin says:

Sorry, said Stonewalling is happening because the Republicans fail to define the BATFE, which they could do.

If the BATFE and Justice department are part in parcel in gun running they are criminal organizations.

  2. Cole says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if Holder and Obama were still running guns to the cartels.

“The officer, Luis Lucio Rosales Astorga, was killed Jan. 29 in the city of Hostotipaquillo…”

This happened in January and we’re just now learning about it?
